Cassidy Sugimoto, a full professor and chair of the School of Public Policy at Georgia Institute of Technology, is an internationally recognized researcher in the field of scientometrics and research evaluation. She has published several key pieces of research in major journals such as Nature and PNAS about key topics related to careers in science and inequalities. Especially significant is her work on gender inequalities. Furthermore, she has a longstanding collaboration with the PI that began in 2016 and has expanded throughout the years in topics related to scientific mobility, career advancement and task distribution.
